Ted A. Galfin was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1953. After relocating to Southern California as a child, Ted attended James Francis Polytechnic High School. After graduating from high school, Ted attended the University of California at Berkeley and received a B.A. degree in sociology. Thereafter, Ted attended law school at Golden Gate University in San Francisco where he obtained his juris doctorate degree in 1980. Ted was then admitted to the State Bar of California that same year and then admitted to all of the various federal district courts in California.

Ted first joined the firm in 1982 and since that time has obtained extensive experience in commercial law, creditor bankruptcy, banking, real estate and business transactions, and landlord/tenant issues. Additionally, Ted has a unique specialization in the area of manufactured housing and mobilehome law. Beyond litigation, Ted specializes in general corporate and real estate transactions. Ted is a member of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum and Orange County Bar Association. He is also a former Judge Pro Tempore, Orange County Harbor Judicial District. Ted has been awarded the highest rating of "AV" from Martindale-Hubbell for professional excellence and ethics.

Ted has numerous hobbies and interests including adult ice hockey, snowboarding, scuba diving, golf and cooking. Ted has been married since 1975 and lives in Orange County with his teenage daughter and son.
